The expectation for Apple's imminent flagship smartphone, tipped as the
iPhone 8 , has been there since last year. We have already witnessed the presupposed dummy of the model in most videos and have also come across some of the rumored characteristics and specs. It is assumed that the device is somewhere being under test in Apple's labs and very much in existent. Meanwhile, Apple CEO Tim Cook might be using one and he might have shown us a glimpse of it.
. .
Cook has posted a photo on Twitter displaying him talking to his group which assembles equipments for Apple. In the image spotted by most users is the long phone-shaped object in Cook's pocket. Many have been gossiping it as the iPhone 8.
Definitely there is no proof if the device in Cook's pocket is really an iPhone 8, an iPhone 7s Plus or a completely different device for that matter. "Looks like Tim Cook is carrying an iPhone 8 in his pocket. It is too tall to be an iPhone 7 and too narrow to be a 7 Plus," said one of the Twitter users.
. . Prior to the previous leaks and rumours, the iPhone 8 has a height that falls somewhere between the iPhone 7S and the iPhone 7S Plus. Looking at the pocket outlining of the device it is difficult to conclude if it's the iPhone 8. It may even be the iPhone 7S Plus. Furthermore the mystery might soon be out in the open as the iPhone launch dates are coming close.

On a related note, the iPhone 8, based on a report by The New York Times, could be priced at around $999, which is roughly Rs 64,000. This moreover, will almost double in India given the import tax. The iPhone 8 is sure to sport a bezel-less front and will be launched sometime in September.
